WHAT IS YELLOW CIRCLE?

After many years of being pessimistic (not only was my glass "half empty" it was also cracked and leaking) I found that the word had gotten too dark and depressing, even for me.

I wanted to draw a happy yellow circle of protection around myself.  Somewhere that is fun, happy, safe and non-judgemental.

I made this blog to be that safe haven.

Here you will see a hodgepodge of everything life has to offer.

You will learn new things as I learn about them.
You will learn how to make yummy new foods.
You will find something
You will learn how to make super fun art and craft projects for grown up and for children.  (Mostly for children, I love kid crafts!)

Who is Winona?

I have been blogging in one form or another since 1999.

My name is Winona, but I go mostly by Nona or Noner.  Online I've been known forever as Noner or Nonersays, as exampled by my Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

I'm the mom of two amazing boys, and my dream job would be to be a stay at home mommy blogger.  However, the bills don't agree with me so I have a full time job outside of the home.

The awesome part is that I work in a big arts and crafts store.  That is awesome because I LOVE arts and crafts, so while I'm out there earning the dough I'm being inspired around every corner!

I enjoy cross stitch, jewelry making and collage art.  I also love being able to reuse and recycle items.  Turning trash into treasure is one of the things that make me really happy.

Soon I will open an online boutique to sell the amazing things I make.

I also love to read.  Library day is one of my favorites.  I leave with more books than I could possibly read in a 3 week period.

    1. Thank you. I hope you will enjoy the positive energy here and come back often. I'm not sure what teen girls are "into" these days, but I will be sharing many crafts. I'm sure one will fit with her.
